Ceremonial Matcha

A cup of freshly prepared ceremonial matcha from the Uji region, Japan

MiMA is a ceremonial-grade matcha from the Uji region (Kyoto, Japan), crafted from young, shade-grown Samidori leaves. Freshly stone-ground in small batches, it is vividly green, with a smooth umami profile and no bitterness.

Freshly Stone-Ground in Uji

All MiMA matcha is stone-milled in Kyoto on traditional granite mills.
Slow stone-milling preserves the leaf structure and produces an even, fine powder — milled December 2025.

SMALL BATCHES

Uji is a region south of Kyoto where matcha has been cultivated for over 800 years. First spring harvest, granite stone mills, shade-grown leaves — standards Uji has known for centuries.

MiMA sources exclusively from there. Every harvest is selected by origin, cultivar, and season — and tested in an independent EU laboratory. Every harvest is chosen by me — and every one is documented.
