Our matcha is grown in natural shade and carefully milled using traditional stone mills. It is of ceremonial quality, rich in umami flavor, and vibrant green in color. Packed with antioxidants, natural caffeine, and L-theanine, it provides energy, enhances focus, and promotes a sense of calm at the same time.
Mima Matcha comes from the Gokasho area in Uji, Japan, where the tea leaves are hand-picked in spring at their peak quality. After harvesting, they are steamed, dried, and ground into powder using traditional stone mills.
The matcha for Mima grows in the shade of natural materials – bamboo and straw – not plastic covers, which was an important factor in my choice. Natural, honest, and free from unnecessary plastic.
I source it directly from a small grower, ground only upon order in small batches to preserve freshness. In this freshness, you feel the softness, strength, and calm that only the finest matcha can offer.
